Maureen Baumgarten: Curriculum Director - Owner The educationally inspired program at Everyday Discoveries helps to build a solid foundation for your child.  Maureen Baumgarten brings 15 years of early childhood classroom experience to her role as Curriculum Director. As a lead teacher for Franklin Edison Primary School, Maureen mentored teachers, planned lessons, interpreted test data and created classroom procedures.  She has taught 1st - 5th grade full inclusion classes and is a recipient of the Illinois State Board of Education Award for Excellence.  Maureen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
