Everyday Discoveries

Our Values

We don’t watch children at Everyday Discoveries... we interact with them.

We respond to their interests and experiences.  We respect their individual learning styles, seek their points of view, understand their conceptions…  and always leave time to ask questions. We transform spontaneous play into learning experiences that encourage language, communications and social skills.  We create programs appropriate for each developmental stage and offer curricula for Infants, Toddlers, Preschool and Pre-K. We’ll explore art, music, creative movement, shared reading, the outdoors, science, math, computers, character education, and the whole world of discovery with your child.

High Standards for Staff and Service

Childcare at Everyday Discoveries is educationally inspired.  Staff members who provide direct childcare are qualified in early childhood education with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent, in the field.  In addition, all childcare providers have previous classroom or daycare experience and are required to maintain Professional Portfolios with details of Continuing Education Hours, Parent/Staff Communications, and Child Academic Growth.
We are prepared for emergencies.  Staff members are trained in First Aid and CPR.  We practice safety drills routinely so staff and children know what to do at all times.
